Referral Program Terms

Hometown Roofing & Restoration Referral Program
Last Updated: September 2, 2026
These Referral Program Terms (the “Program Terms”) govern participation in the Hometown Roofing & Restoration Referral Program (the “Program”). By submitting a referral, accepting a referral reward, or otherwise participating in the Program, a participant agrees to these Program Terms.

1. Program Rewards

Subject to these Program Terms and verification by Hometown, eligible participants may earn the following rewards:

Qualified Inspection Reward. After Hometown completes an eligible in-person roof inspection and consultation with the referred property owner or an authorized decision-maker, Hometown will issue a $25 gift card to the eligible referrer and a separate $25 gift card to the eligible referred property owner.

The referred property owner’s gift card is earned by completing the qualifying inspection and is not conditioned on signing a contract or purchasing services.

Full Roof Replacement Reward. If the eligible referred property owner signs an eligible full roof replacement agreement with Hometown, Hometown completes the roof replacement, and Hometown receives final payment, the eligible referrer will receive one percent (1%) of the eligible roof-replacement amount actually collected, up to a maximum reward of $1,000.

2. Participant Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years old and legally able to participate. The Program is available to current customers, past customers, and members of the general public, subject to these Program Terms.

Hometown employees, owners, subcontractors, sales representatives, and persons covered by separate compensation or incentive arrangements are excluded unless Hometown approves participation in writing.

Realtors, insurance professionals, public adjusters, attorneys, and other professional referral sources are not included in this general Program and may be governed by a separate written program that has been reviewed for legal and professional-rule compliance.

3. Eligible Referral Requirements

An eligible referral must satisfy all of the following requirements:

  • The referred person and property must be a new lead for the applicable roofing need and must not already be an active lead, open opportunity, customer, or active project in Hometown’s records for that need.
  • The referral must involve a legitimate roofing-related concern, service inquiry, or potential full roof replacement within Hometown’s service capabilities.
  • The referrer must provide accurate information sufficient for Hometown to identify and contact the referred person.
  • The referrer must have permission to share the referred person’s name and email address for one introductory email from Hometown.
  • The referral must be submitted through a Hometown-approved referral form or another method that Hometown documents in its customer relationship management system.
  • The referred property must be located within Hometown’s then-current service area in Central or South Texas, unless Hometown accepts the referral in writing before services are performed.

4. Contacting a Referred Person

Hometown may send one carefully written introductory email to a referred person. That email may identify the referrer, explain why Hometown is contacting the person, provide Hometown’s contact information, and offer the person a way to request information or consent to additional communications.

Important: A referral submitted by another person does not, by itself, enroll the referred person in recurring marketing.

Unless the referred person directly contacts Hometown, requests services, or provides the consent required by applicable law, Hometown will not enroll that person in recurring marketing emails, automated marketing text messages, prerecorded or artificial-voice marketing calls, or AI-generated marketing calls.

Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services.

5. Duplicate Referrals

If more than one person refers the same person, property, or roofing opportunity, the first complete and otherwise eligible referral timestamped in Hometown’s system will receive referral credit.

Later duplicate referrals are not eligible. Hometown may reject incomplete, unverifiable, fraudulent, or manipulated submissions.

Only one $25 reward pair and one percentage reward may be issued for the same property and roofing opportunity.

6. Self-Referrals and Same-Household Referrals

Self-referrals are not eligible. Hometown may exclude referrals involving members of the same household when the submission does not represent a genuine new customer introduction.

7. Qualified Inspection Requirements

The $25 inspection rewards become earned only after Hometown verifies that an eligible in-person roof inspection and consultation was completed with the property owner or an authorized decision-maker.

Submission of a form, an email, a telephone call, scheduling, a canceled appointment, a missed appointment, a no-show, a telephone-only consultation, or an incomplete inspection does not qualify.

Once earned and after Hometown receives any reasonably necessary identity or delivery information, the $25 gift cards will be issued within 30 calendar days.

8. Full Roof Replacement Reward Calculation

The percentage reward applies only to an eligible full roof replacement completed by Hometown and paid in full.

Repairs, inspections, tune-ups, emergency services, mitigation, interior restoration, gutters, solar work, windows, siding, painting, and other work that does not constitute the eligible full roof replacement do not qualify.

The reward is calculated on the final amount actually collected by Hometown for the eligible roof replacement, excluding refunds, credits, finance charges, taxes, permit fees, and separately priced non-roof work.

It is not calculated using an estimate, proposal, insurance claim amount, unpaid balance, or projected project value. The maximum percentage reward is $1,000 per eligible roofing opportunity.

9. Verification and Payment

Hometown may request reasonable information needed to verify identity, eligibility, payment details, or tax-reporting obligations.

Approved percentage rewards will be issued within 30 calendar days after Hometown completes the eligible roof replacement, receives final payment, and receives any required payment and tax information from the referrer.

Gift cards may be fulfilled through Amazon or another provider selected by Hometown and may be subject to the provider’s separate terms. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash through Hometown and cannot be applied to a Hometown invoice.

10. Insurance Deductibles and Public Adjusting

Referral rewards are separate from the referred customer’s contract, insurance claim, and insurance obligations.

No reward is intended to operate as, and no person may represent a reward as, a waiver, payment, reimbursement, credit, rebate, offset, or reduction of a property-insurance deductible.

The customer remains responsible for any deductible required by the applicable policy and law.

Hometown is a contractor and does not act as a public insurance adjuster. Hometown does not negotiate insurance claims, interpret insurance coverage, or represent policyholders in communications with insurance companies.

11. Truthful Recommendations and Required Disclosures

A participant must describe Hometown truthfully and may not make promises, guarantees, insurance representations, or service claims that Hometown has not authorized.

If a participant publicly recommends or endorses Hometown, including through social media, an online review, a community group, a video, or other public communication, the participant must clearly and conspicuously disclose the potential reward near the recommendation.

A disclosure such as “I may receive a referral reward from Hometown if you use my referral” should be used when accurate. The disclosure must be easy to notice and understand.

12. No Agency or Solicitation Authority

Participants are independent referrers and are not employees, agents, representatives, public adjusters, or salespersons of Hometown.

Participants may not bind Hometown, quote prices, negotiate contracts or insurance matters, make guarantees, collect payments, or use Hometown’s trademarks or advertising materials without written permission.

13. Fraud and Abuse

Hometown may reject, suspend, cancel, or reverse a referral or unpaid reward if Hometown reasonably determines that there has been fraud, abuse, duplication, false or misleading information, fabricated referrals, unauthorized disclosure of personal information, manipulation of the Program, or an attempt to circumvent these Program Terms.

Hometown will not reverse an earned and paid reward except for fraud, material misrepresentation, payment reversal, or legal necessity.

14. Taxes

Participants are responsible for taxes associated with rewards. Hometown may require a completed Form W-9 before issuing a percentage reward and may report aggregate payments to the participant and taxing authorities when required by law.

15. Program Changes or Termination

Hometown may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program prospectively by posting updated Program Terms.

A change will not be used solely to avoid paying a reward that fully qualified before the change became effective. Referrals submitted after the effective date of revised Program Terms will be governed by the revised terms.

16. Privacy

Personal information collected through the Program is handled in accordance with Hometown’s Privacy Policy.

A referrer must not submit sensitive personal information or documents about a referred person. Only the information requested by the referral form should be provided.

17. Disputes and Governing Law

Hometown will make reasonable, good-faith determinations regarding eligibility, duplicate referrals, milestone completion, and reward calculations.

These Program Terms are governed by Texas law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law must apply. Nothing in these Program Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
